Job Search Trackers
When I went through job searching, I needed a simple and easy way to see all of my options and make decisions. So, I created these two templates:
- Interview Tracker
- Offer Analysis
Each of these spreadsheets are meant to make an already grueling and tiring process easy for you.
You Will Get:
- Interview Tracker Template
- Offer Analysis Template
- Quick videos explaining how to use each
Interview Tracker
TThis spreadsheet tracks:
- Every company you're interviewing with or want to apply to
- The interview stages of each company
- Different statuses such as Applied, Opted Out, Rejected, In Progress, Paused, etc.
- Compensation expectations
- Referrals (if any)
- Pros and Cons
I've used this spreadsheet since my very first job search post-college, where I needed to remember what stage I was in with each company, which ones I wanted to still speak to, and visualize progress. It's come in handy throughout the years as a simple and easy-to-use tool to organize the process.
Offer Analysis
If you're lucky, you will be deciding between multiple good offers. This simple and data-driven tool helps you put numbers to the values that you care about when analyzing an offer. It includes:
- Weighted categories between Role, Work/Life Balance, Benefits, Money, and Company Culture
- Breakdown of categories into specific values and characteristics particular to you
- Scores 1-3 for each value
- Simple calculation of total points per offer
This will allow you to be transparent with yourself about the values that matter most to you in your next role, and let you honestly compare the specifics of each offer.
