EM / PM Ownership Areas Template

One of the most asked questions I get as an Engineering Manager is, "How do you establish a good working relationship with a Product Manager?" The EM + PM relationship is interesting because you're both after achieving the same goals but from different directions. It's one of the most important working relationships an EM will have, but also the most difficult to get right.

I've been blessed to have multiple amazing PM partners, and we've both learned a lot from each other. One of the most important things was created a clear separation of ownership for everything related to the team's work.
